While one may not agree with Hamas it must be recognized that had Israel not been brutally occupying the West Bank and Gaza there would be no Hamas. Hamas came about after 20 years of occupation and settlement building. What did the Israelis and the US expect the Palestinians to do? Just leave or wait to be driven out as they were in 1948 and again in 1967? Don\'t like Hamas? Then get out of the territories & back to the 1967 line. Meanwhile boycott, divest and sanction Israel.
