It has nothing to do with the suffering of Palestinians (who were treated far worse in Jordan and the Lebanon) and everything to do with crowd manipulation. It touches also on nostalgia for Caliphate days when the Jews stayed in their place. This has created a complete obsession and hate across the Muslim world which is all out of proportion.

Six Arab states launched a war of annihilation against the nascent State of Israel. Their purpose was not to establish an independent Falastin.
